What do I use Virtualizor for?
It is the management panel for your VPS: restart it, switch the operating system, watch resource usage and adjust the basics. Root access over SSH stays exactly as it is.
Will I have root on the server?
Every Linux KVM plan ships with full root. You decide what gets installed, how the firewall is set and how the server is laid out.
How soon is it ready?
Once payment goes through, the VPS normally comes up straight away or within minutes. Login details arrive by email and also appear in your Client Area.
Do I need a VPS or is shared enough?
For a small site, shared costs less and needs no upkeep. A KVM VPS pays off once you want consistent performance, root, your own installs or extra resources.
Are cPanel and Plesk supported?
With root you can set up any compatible control panel, provided you hold the licence for it and the plan has enough resources.
Which countries host the servers?
VPS run in data centers in Germany, France or the Netherlands, depending on the plan, so response times stay low throughout Europe.
What about backups?
Available backup options differ per plan and are listed in the store. For data you cannot afford to lose, keeping your own copies as well is good practice.

Which operating systems can I install?
Popular Linux distributions such as Ubuntu, Debian, AlmaLinux and Rocky Linux, depending on the templates available in Virtualizor.
Can I upgrade resources later?
Yes. You can move to a larger plan when you need more CPU, RAM or disk.
Who manages the operating system?
You have full control of the OS with root. We look after the hardware, network and platform, and support helps wherever you get stuck.
What if I lock myself out of SSH?
Virtualizor gives you a console and reinstall options, so you can get back into your server.
